Curriculum

Practical life: the foundation of independence

Practical life is where every Montessori child begins. The work looks ordinary — washing a table, slicing a banana — and that is exactly why children love it.

Care of self

Children hang their own coat, wash their own hands, pour their own water, and manage buttons and zippers. Each success replaces an adult's help with a child's own capability.

Care of the environment

Sweeping, table washing, plant watering, and chicken or worm-bin care give real responsibility with real consequences. A spill is not a problem; it is the next lesson.

Grace and courtesy

Short, modeled lessons teach children how to greet a visitor, wait for a turn, interrupt politely, and repair a conflict. These are practiced daily, not lectured.
