- What ages do you accept?
- We serve children 2 years and up in one mixed-age community.
- Are you a certified Montessori school?
- No. Heidi's House is a Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf inspired outdoor preschool, not an accredited Montessori school. The owner-operator draws on all three approaches without claiming formal Montessori certification.
- How much is tuition?
- Full-time tuition is $1,400 / month, which includes all materials, the outdoor and garden program, and snacks.
- Do children go outside in the rain?
- Yes. With rain gear and boots, wet days are some of our best. We come inside for lightning, unhealthy air quality, or extreme heat.
- Does my child need to be potty trained?
- No. We support potty learning as part of practical life work.
- Do you provide meals?
- We provide morning and afternoon snack, much of it from our garden. Families send a packed lunch.
- What are your ratios?
- We keep ratios low and licensing-compliant so every child gets individual lessons. Ask us for current numbers on your tour.
